Delicate lace and embroidered panels, a gathered high neckline, soft ruffles at the sleeve and hem, and the detail everyone comments on: a waist tie you pull, and it cinches. Ooohhh.

It's lightweight cotton, so it's a little sheer — which is exactly why it's cool and breezy on the hottest days. A plain bralette underneath and jeans is the entire outfit. The top does the rest.

Lightweight cotton lace. Soft, breathable, and a little sheer by design — it's what keeps it cool in the heat and what makes the lace read as lace, not a print.

Underneath: a nude or matching bralette is the move. The black is less sheer than the white.

Care: Hand wash or machine on delicate, cold, in a mesh bag. Hang dry. No tumble dryer. Reshape the ruffles while damp.
